Too many raw veggies!

I had way too many for dinner and my stomach hurts from too much fiber! As I sit in pain I now remember how this happens to me so I will be more careful to have balanced meals.

HMMMM I am really letting my health come last these days and I feel it! I know it is no excuse but my work is so consuming right now (doing the two jobs) and it is taking me over completely! I know I am taking it out on my boyfriend and my parents so I hate to vent here too, but it is helping:P

Moving on to my more positive side...my eats! I had a chai tea this morning:
And Egg White Oatmeal with 1/2 cup oats, water, a sprinkle of Cinnamon, 1/2 shot raisins, 1/2 shot Craisins, 1 shot raw sunflower seeds, a small sliced banana and a 1/2 shot of Bare Naked Granola:

I put about a tbsp of Agave on the oats because they had a strange "eggy" taste that was turning me off, and this helped!
I brought this bar to work and ate it around 10am and I made myself a non fat latte at work( no pic)
For lunch I had left over Shrimp tacos in a wrap with the same veggies as yesterday and sorry no pic:( I am really on a wrap kick, it's just so easy to prepare the night before for lunch! I will try to change it up for sake of the blog!
For my walk home I made my self a Green Tea Frappe; which is blended skim milk, ice, and green tea Matcha powder with no sugar!!! Yummy and refreshing with a bit of a caffeine kick!
I also had this little bit of brown rice and fat free baked beans to hold me over while I went on the continuous hunt for furniture for the Fashion Island shoot, this job is stressing me out big time!
When I finally got home from the shopping I had this mini apple and behind it are my new curtains, courtesy World Market! Great store!
For dinner I made a HUGE salad like last nights + raw broccoli, brown rice and baked beans!!!!!
My tummy was fine for a half hour or so after I ate but then... the bloat came full fledged and I can only blame the raw broccoli and overloaded veggies on my salad for this tummy ache!
Needless to say I ate some dried fruit and a few peanuts?!?!?!

I hope you all understand my bad behavior of late and stick with me as I get through this job and the beginning of school! Once stress hits me I really need to exercise it off, but I have yet to get that going! Tomorrow morning I am waking up 1.5 hours early to do some living room cardio!

Good night ya'll!

Ok I need a NEW camera!

I am so deeply disappointed by my Casio Exilim "Crappio" is more like it! It was fine for my quick On Set pics or continuity pics on set, but this whole photographing my food thing has brought my standards to a whole new level! I am open to suggestions! So many of you lovely bloggers have wonderful looking pictures and I am officially jealous! I am not looking for anything too fancy or anything too expensive but just a GOOD camera that will take a clear picture and has a decent flash. I know my best pics are done in natural light with no flash, but I am often taking pictures at night, in my car, early morning or on the go....So I need a better camera to equipped myself with!

Well I guess I will show you what I mean; bfast pick:
Kashi WW Waffle with 1/2 tbsp of Almond butter, 1 small mashed REALLY over ripe banana, 2 shots of TJ's Twigs and Flakes, a spoon of Fage 0%, an orange, and some dried tropical fruit for fun :)

I thought the Waffle/ over ripe banana would be better, it was a bit soggy and too sweet but oh well.
I ate this bar at work around 10am, but took this pic at home before:
These Z bars, even though for kids, are very tasty and satisfying when I need a lil something but not a whole protein bar.
For lunch I packed a Sun Dried Tomato Jalapeno Tortilla with turkey, roast red pepper hummus and muenster (I have not been spelling it with an "e" so my appologise, my strong suit is obviously not my spelling:) This wrap was by FAR my fave so far! The salty cheese and tangy spicy tortilla went so well with the turkey and hummus!!!! Yummm! I need to buy more turkey now!
I also packed some baby carrots and sugar snap peas- I love these!
When I got off work I was in a hurry to run to the prop houses to snap a few pics for the Fashion Island add so I grabbed this Black Cherry Almond Cliff:
I made it home in the WORST traffic, but early enough to muster up the energy to make dinner. I made my BBQ Chicken moourl.com/bbqchick atop a mixed salad with Herb Spring mix, Butter Lettuce, Persian cucumber, red pepper, red cabbage, red onion, a dash of Goddess dressing ( yummm I haven't this stuff for YEARS and I have missed it, I cut it out due to the fat content, but now I figure a tad will not hurt me + the flavor it so jam packed you only need a tinsy bit).

This salad was just what the DR. ordered! I know I have not been posting any exercise lately....that's because I really haven't done any :( I try to squeeze in yoga, but my mind is a million places and my body is so tired! I will not let this stop me, and I plan to pick back up soon! I am on my feet all day at work and am hoping that the amount of calories I am burning will not allow me to GAIN any weight, but I sure know I am not LOSING any. I feel healthy and that is most important, but I would like to exercise because when I do I feel 10 times better! My will power is not keeping up right now and I need a bit of a push! The first step is getting my gym membership! So we will make that priority #1!

Good night everybody! I plan to have a few pieces of dried fruit for my dessert so I might show you the goods tomorrow, but to be honest it is just like the last few days dessert so I will probably spare you the lame pictures.

My way back home-

It is so nice to come home to a clean house greeted by my Ella boo face! The weather here is crazy cold and I actually needed to turn on the heater! A first this winter. So my day consisted mostly of driving back from Sonoma so my food was not my usual 3 meals. I started it off well with oats like yesterdays at my sisters early this morning. 1/2 cup oats, 1/2 cup reduced fat milk, 1/2 cup water, and a spoon full of peanut butter and a sprinkle of cinnamon with coffee, and I also had an orange. Then Sean and I hit the road to head home. I made some ham sandwiches with WW 7 grain bread, a slice of Munster cheese, Dijon Mustard and left over Honey baked Ham-yummmmm! And I had some emergency snacks left over from the drive up so I snacked on those a bit before and a bit after the sandwich. I ended up eating the sandwich in 2 sessions because I was really hungry around 10:30 and didn't want to snack too much so I got a head start on lunch and finished the other half around 12:30.
I forgot to rate these Mini rye toasts so I'll let you all know now that they are scrumptious! If you like rye toast with butter as much as I do then you will surely enjoy these little morsels of goodness! They taste just like the real thing! Also in the pictures above are my road trip essentials: my camera (taking this picture), Ipod (this one is Sean's, mine is a nano and is in a pink case:)), and my blackberry also in a pink case! yes I do!
Not much snow on the way back :( but it was very windy!

I tried the Larabar Jam Frakas bar and my opinion is this: good, not great, a bit too sweet with a funny texture. I'm not sure if the texture thing was from having it sit in the cold car for 3 days or if that is how they come, but it was very hard. I would probably get them again for a small snack pre exercise but in a different flavor and they didn't hold me as long as the reg Larabars.

Do two apples a day keep the doctors EXTRA away?!?
When we arrived in the city we stopped to get some essentials for the week and dinner because our fridge was EMPTY man! I can't wait for these:
I haven't had Kefir in a while, since my Greek yogurt kick, and I forgot how good this stuff is!

Haven't had this flavor I usually drink unsweetened soy or almond milk but his was just so festive and on sale!

After settling in I started on dinner with my "chef juice" as my dad calls it. The menu tonight was simple and very satisfying! Annie's WW shells with a salad made with romain, 1 orange, 1 tomato, 1/2 can drained black beans, 1/2 cup sweet yellow corn and a red wine vinaigrette topped with BBQ chicken. I find that the sweetness of the orange and the tangy BBQ sauce melds so well together!
Here is the recipe for Oven Baked BBQ Chicken:
-1.5-2 pounds of boneless skinless chicken breast cut into strips or just buy the tenders
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup salsa or add 1 tbs to 1/2 cup canned diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tbs Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tbs chili powder
- 1/2 tbs ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp worcshitster sauce
preheat oven to 400 degrees. add ingredients to big zip lock bag, add chicken pieces close bag and shake and mix until chicken is all coated. lay coated chicken in one layer in a Pyrex pan and bake for 30 min turning once. remove from oven and enjoy hot or cold!

Dessert tonight was Marzapan- a treat I brought back from Spain! I just love it!

I went back for more dessert- 2 dates, also from Spain

So that's my day! I am now going to watch Dexter with Sean we are behind on our Net flicks! GNight Everyone!
