Getting Organized

Hello Saturday!
Today my goal is to get a bit organized, for this week was really jam packed and I had no time to clean or organize my life! So I am doing laundry, dusting, dishes, and most excitingly I am seeing a friend for dinner from when I was in Elementary school! Gotta love Facebook! We used to be really close and when we went to different Middle schools, like people often do, we drifted apart and lost touch. We are having dinner together tonight because Sean is working- boo for working on the weekend- I am so excited! Funny I read my horoscope today and it was quite fitting:
Libra (9/23-10/22)
You're stuck in the past a bit today, but it's not such a bad thing, really. In fact, you may find that people are more willing than usual to reminisce with you and recall the good times.

Last night Sean brought home a wonderful gift: WINE! A friend of his made this himself with left over grapes from the harvest at a winery he works at! How cool right? We had to taste it last night and I must say it is very home made :)
It has the color of a Rose, the nose of a Chardonnay and the taste of a Syrah blend-hmmmmmm?
This is the case we received, sans one bottle he gave to a co-worker:
I have never filled up my wine rack before!
I am sure you will see this wine in future posts~
Today I had a big bfast bowl of cereal! 1 cup Kashi sunshine, 1 cup Heritage flakes, 1.5 cups skim milk with 1/2 scoop Vanilla Whey Protein powder mixed in, 1/2 shot of raisins, 1/2 shot of Bare Naked Granola, a few roasted peanuts, and 1 small banana sliced:
It was wonderfully filling with the protein powder! And it gave it a nice taste too!
It is raining outside and to me that equates the perfect recipe for staying inside and doing laundry, lounging and organizing my stuff for school-just 3 more weeks until my first class!!!!
For lunch I had meal made for comfort! I microwaved a 2 red potatoes topped with 2 big spoons of a mix of leftover Tortilla soup (from work) and a can of TJ's Refried Black Beans with Jalapeno ( a fat free product). On the plate with it I had some Romain lettuce, Cilantro ( I am a sucker for fresh Cilantro), baby carrots, a tomato, a sprinkle of Mexican blend cheese, Tapatio and Fage 0%:
MMMMM!!! So good, I am stuffed!
Back to cleaning- See ya for a dinner post! Hope you all are having a good weekend!
